This Amazing region was discovered by curious Travellers who made this
area of Erg Chebbi known . Therefore several families managed to offer
accommodation toVisitors , hence we got the opportunity to be on contact
with the foreigners and tolearn from different Cultures .Finaly we were able
to do our studies at School with the interest of learning Languages such as
English and French . We also speak Spanish due to our contact with
Tourists especially the Spanish People .

In the heart of the desert which is
located in the South East of Morocco ,
there exists many Berber communities
that were divided upon different
villages among which Mezguida and
Hassi Labied are examples. These
small tiny villages are typical ones ;
different races co-exist regardless of
their different Customs and Habits .Our
Parents and Grand Parents used to live
a Nomadic style of life breeding and
nourishing their Cattles of Sheep ,
Goats and Camels on the desert
souvage plants in the middle of the
Sahara of ErgChebbi towards the
Algerian Borders which are close by .
Because of the hard conditions of life
such as the drought which had
affected the Agriculture during that
time , our Parents tried very hard to
improve their way of life so as to save
the suffiscient foodespecially for their
Cattles .
Thanks to the Nomadic experiences of
life on which they relied to look for a
Strategic Spot to settle down , the got
the chance to find the suitable places
surounding the huge sand dunes of
Erg Chebbi where they started to
cultivate some Corpses and plant the
Palm Trees.
